The rain's moved on and today was clear and sunny. A rather damp and sodden "clear and sunny," but there you go. It's turned off cool, as well, resetting the winter weather wheel of fate. We're supposed to get more rain next weekend, maybe even some snow. Anyhow.

After yesterday's big storms, it has cleared out and gotten pretty cool hereabouts. Beautiful weather, though. I've said it before about New Orleans, but Fall in Northeast Mississippi is when it shines, as well. What Daddy would call "football playing weather".

It is Mose Allison weather today. Rainy and grey, but not too hard nor too threatening. Cool but with no bite. Just the right amount of humidity. Melancholy. Maybe light some off to the west. Play Mose Allison's Backwoods Suite and tell me I'm wrong.
